Why Your Feed Isn't Updating
Mirror App fetches your latest posts from the social network on a schedule and caches them for performance. This means your widget doesn't pull new posts in real time — it refreshes at a set interval depending on your plan.

Update Intervals by Plan
If you're on the Free plan, automatic refresh is not included. You can update your feed manually at any time:
Open your widget in the Mirror App dashboard
Go to
Source
section
Remove the current connection — remove only the connected account, not the widget itself
Reconnect your account
Make sure new posts appear in the preview on the right side
Click
Publish
Note
Your widget updates on your website automatically after publishing. You don't need to delete the widget or create a new one — everything is done within the existing widget.
How to Refresh Your Feed Manually (Free Plan)
If posts look outdated or appear in the wrong order, the issue may be in sorting — not in the refresh itself:
Open your widget
Go to
Design
→
Sorting & Filters
Set sorting to
Descending
(newest first)
Click
Publish

Sometimes sorting settings make it seem like the feed isn't updated, even though new content has already been loaded.

In 99% of cases, the steps above resolve the issue completely:
✅ No need to change the embed code on your website
✅ No need to create a new widget
✅ Everything works within your existing widget
✅ The widget on your site updates automatically after clicking Publish
If the steps above didn't work, try a full reset:
Remove the widget iframe code from your website
Delete the widget in Mirror App
Create a new widget
Embed the new code on your site
